“CORRIERE DI ROMA” “TACCUINO DI FONDO” Marcello Gallian – April 1950
In “Chiurazzi” Gallery l’ve found a young man sitting in front of some paintings…….
This time the boy’s name is Del Sole. His paintings were always there, humble, different… with black high dome, contrasted with some fronts of small houses, with a woman’s figure sat in the window, in front of everybody’s view, as if she was meditating alone about the color which had defined her forever. That young man of few words, as much elegant as furious in his paintings, at the end revealed a certain mature discretion; a certain reticence of not telling eerything and complete, almost a human reticence that had marked the limits, the boundaries of the things like pure mathematics as an architect almost of the same picture.
A painting nude and crude, reduced to the bones by a very different light of the one of the beginning of the times, of the mammoths and of the deluge. Light after the alarm siren, the attic light.
